CHRISTMAS MINI SESSIONS 2026
Christmas is one of my favourite times of the year, and I love creating these little sessions for families at my air-conditioned studio in Anstead, Brisbane. They’re a fun and easy way to update your family photos and capture the excitement of Christmas while the kids are still little. Big kids are welcome too!
This year there are three Christmas studio scenes to choose from, plus our outdoor Christmas Cubby.
You can also choose whether you'd like Santa to join your session, no matter which scene you choose.
YOUR CHRISTMAS MINI SESSION INCLUDES:
Without Santa: $135
20 minute session + 5 digital images
With Santa: $160
30 minute session + 5 digital images
Each child will also receive a little Gift Bag.
Additional digital images and beautiful printed products are available to purchase after your session from your Online Gallery.
STUDIO SESSIONS
This year I have three very different Christmas scenes in the studio.
Each backdrop has its own dedicated dates, so please choose your preferred scene before booking your session time.
You can choose either the $135 session without Santa or the $160 session with Santa when you book.

OUTDOOR SESSIONS
Our Christmas Cubby is back for another year, but it's getting a little Christmas glow-up for 2026!
The photos below show last year's setup, so the styling will be a little different this year.
If your family would prefer an outdoor Christmas setting, this is the one for you.
There are a limited number of special Night-Time sessions available. These sessions will have the twinkling Christmas lights and the Christmas inflatables, creating a really magical setting!
Night-Time sessions will be available from 6pm & Santa can be included in these sessions too.
NOTE: these outdoor sessions are obviously weather dependent. If it is raining on the day, your session will be rescheduled where possible or swapped to a Studio session.

Of course, you'll receive digital images with your Christmas Mini Session, but if you love your photos, why leave them hidden on your phone or computer?
I also offer a range of beautiful printed products and Christmas gifts, including Metal Tree Ornaments, Mini Albums and other Keepsakes. These make lovely Christmas gifts for grandparents.

Hi….I’m Gill
Christmas Minis have become one of my favourite things to do and I absolutely love seeing so many families come back each year!
I've photographed some families for many years now & watching their little ones grow from babies into toddlers, school kids and beyond…..It's really very special!
My aim is to keep your session relaxed and fun, whether your kids are confident little performers or need some time to warm up.
And don't worry if they don't sit perfectly still and smile at the camera. Some of my favourite photos happen when they're simply being themselves.

Don't worry! Not every child runs straight in and smiles at the camera. I'll give them time to settle in and we'll work with their personality rather than forcing them to perform.

Our Santa is wonderful & great with the kids but please let me know in your Questionnaire if your child might be a little nervous. There is absolutely no pressure for your child to sit with Santa. We can take things slowly and see how they feel on the day.

There will be a selection of headgear (santa hats & antlers etc) for you to use during your session but you are more than welcome to bring your own too. Your children are welcome to bring a letter for Santa. Even if you are not having photos with Santa, your children can place their letters in Santa’s mailbox on arriving or departing.

There is no need for everyone to wear matching outfits. Choose clothes that you feel comfortable in and that work well together. Christmas pyjamas, dresses, shirts, neutral colours or traditional Christmas colours can all work beautifully. Try & avoid large logos on shirts.

As it is a 20-30 minute session unfortunately there will not be time for any outfit changes.

It is your choice if you want your family to wear shoes or not. If you do opt for shoes, please make sure that they are clean underneath as fixing up visibly dirty soles of shoes will not be part of the editing process.

Please make sure your family is ready to be photographed upon arrival ie: dressed, hair done, faces cleaned & noses wiped (editing runny noses takes forever!)
Remember to remove all hair ties and/or kids watches before the shoot to ensure no marks are there.
Arrive 5 mins before your session!

Each Mini Session is for immediate family groups only. Maximum of 2 adults & 4 children. If you'd like to include Grandparents, other family members/cousins, pls book back-to-back sessions.

Yes dogs can be included but they must be brought in on a lead & kept under control at all times. Pls make a note on your Questionnaire at time of booking that you will be bringing your dog.

If you need to reschedule, pls let me know immediately. Reschedules will only be possible if there are any open spots still available. Sessions cannot be refunded but can be transferred to a friend or family member.

Please aim to arrive 5 minutes BEFORE your Session time. Christmas Mini Sessions run back-to-back, so a late arrival will mean your session is reduced.

Photos will be uploaded to your Online Gallery 1-2 weeks after your session.

Christmas Mini Sessions in Brisbane's Western Suburbs
